It is with great sadness that we hear of the death of Neville, who died peacefully in Airedale General Hospital on Sunday morning 05th February 2023 aged 61. He was a son of Lothersdale, a lifelong farmer and had been a Parish Councillor since May 2019, his knowledge of the village helped to complete some great projects.
Not only was Neville a great parish councillor, he was a fantastic friend to many including myself, his door was always open, kettle on and biscuits ready. Neville was an animal lover, still caring for his sheep right up until the day he died, he was a huge fan of dogs and children. More recently helping my daughter to ride her bike along the track to his farmland, treating her to a rich tea biscuit for doing well and leading her off to feed the animals.
Neville will be sadly missed by not just his family and friends but the entire community of Lothersdale .
